The first leg of two Return-2-Play duels will take place on Thursday. These could not be played in October due to medical precautionary measures regarding Covid-19 and will therefore be played this week on Thursday (first leg) and Saturday (second leg). In the two games, S.G. Cortina Hafro faces the SHC Fassa Falcons and the HC Gherdeina valgardena.it challenges Migross Supermercati Asiago Hockey.

After more than a month, S.G. Cortina Hafro Hockey is back on the ice. Cortina was only in action at the season opener against HC Gherdeina valgardena.it. They clearly lost with 2:6. All other games had to be postponed due to medical precautionary measures regarding Covid-19. The SHC Fassa Falcons also started the season late, but have now played three games and lost all of them. Most recently at HC Pustertal Wölfe (3: 4), where the decisive goal in favor of PUS was shot only nine seconds before the end of the game. In the H2H, in the Alps Hockey League, Cortina clearly leads 12:2. The return match in the return-2-play duel with Fassa will follow on Saturday at 19:30.

HC Gherdeina valgardena.it and Migross Supermercati Asiago Hockey are dueling for the second time this season. The first time they played against each other on October 29th. Asaigo won the game of the „Regular Season“ with 6:2. Steven McParland was the man of the match with two goals and two assists. Therefore the Canadian was named Top Performer of the week. Now the Return-2-Play duel will be played. This should actually have taken place in October, but had to be postponed due to medical precautionary measures regarding Covid-19. While the hosts from Val Gardena have already played five games this season, three wins at the start and two defeats recently, Asiago has only played three times. Of the three games they won two games. So far, both teams have met thirteen times in the Alps Hockey League. Asiago had the upper hand in eleven encounters. The second leg will take place on Saturday at 20:30 in Asiago.
