The KSV Highlanders led 2:0 after just 14 minutes in Bolzano, before things got really exciting in the second period. South Tyrol initially fought their way back into the game with a double strike in the 23rd and 28th minutes, but Marielle Dijkema put the Styrians back in front in the 30th minute - her second goal of the game. The visitors equalized again (34.), but Sara Confidenti made it 4:3 for the Highlanders just a minute and a half later. The South Tyroleans had no answer after that.
