HDD SIJ Acroni Jesenice and HK SZ Olimpija Ljubljana will be in a fight for the number 1 position in their country in the Steel City: The „Red Steelers“ have earned 21 points (seven wins) out of ten games so far and are ranked on place 6, while the green dragons got 24 points (eight wins) out of ten matches and are a top 3 team. The Steel Citizens have been convincing in their own building so far: The Slovenian Champion has won all five home-games and has been successful in six straight meetings with the dragons as well. But, watch out: Ales Music and Co. have been on fire lately too: Ljubljana has won seven consecutive matches, scoring 34 goals and allowing just six goals. Besides, the Slovenian derby is the meeting of the two best clubs in Penalty Killing as well...

Hockey Milano Rossoblu vs. HC Fassa Falcons is an Italian meeting of two neighbours in the standing. The „Red & Blues“ have earned five points (one victory) out of ten matches so far and are ranked on place 15, while the „Falcons“ got two points (one win) out of nine games and are ranked on place 16. Each team has been defeated lately and will try to return of the winning street in Milano on Saturday. The two teams have shown different faces lately: While the „Wälder“ have lost two straight games, the Mozart Citizens have been successful in three consecutive matches, scoring 13 goals. Besides, the „bulls“ are the best team in Power Play (PP%: 29,7): The Mozart Citizens have alread potted eleven goals out of 37 Power Play situations. Besides, the team from Salzburg has been successful in five straight meetings with the Vorarlberger.
