The two clubs are neighbours in the standing and had the same run (W/D/W) lately as well. The Red Bull Hockey Juniors are ranked on place 8 with nine points (three wins) out of six matches, while Feldkirch is ranked on place 7 with eleven points (three wins) out of six matches. Each team has been on fire lately too: The Vorarlberger have won 7:4 in Fassa on Saturday and the Mozart Citizens have been successful in the Salzburger derby against EK Die Zeller Eisbären at home 6:2. The VEU has won two straight meetings with Salzburg.
