His last year's engagement in Bolzano was his second with the South Tyroleans: The Defender started his European career in the 2015-16 season with the "foxes". He can therefore point to a total of 96 appearances in the bet-at-home ICE Hockey League (14G | 33A). In between he played for four campaigns in the first Czech league with Piráti Chomutov (10G | 40A).

"During my time in Bolzano, I played with HCB against the spusu Vienna Capitals several times. I have always liked the Caps organization, it is managed very professionally. Last year my wife and I spent a few days in Vienna. It is a great city. The decision to come here was therefore very easy for me," said the 29-year-old.
