wC iDM Wärmepumpen VSV – Hydro Fehérvár AV19
The EC iDM Wärmepumpen VSV is hosting its "Bring your Hero"-Night, presented by win2day, on Wednesday. Season ticket holders can bring a guest—their hero—for just €5. The Villach "Adler" will face off against Hydro Fehérvár AV19, the current league leaders. The Hungarian team arrives in excellent form, having won nine of their last ten games. With stellar defense and standout goalie Rasmus Reijola, boasting a 94.9% save percentage, Fehérvár comes to Villach as clear favorites. Offensively, they are led by Janos Hari and a solid defensive corps. Villach, however, is building momentum after a win over Pustertal. With a recently stabilized defense and top scorers like John Hughes and Kevin Hancock, the Adler aim to capitalize on their home-ice advantage. Expect a nail-biter: seven of the last ten matchups between these teams have been decided by just one goal.

Pioneers Vorarlberg – Steinbach Black Wings Linz
An emotional home game awaits the Pioneers Vorarlberg as they honor Patrick Spannring, their former star forward, in a farewell ceremony. The Pioneers, who have shown improved team structure lately, are hunting for their first home win of the season against the in-form Black Wings. Linz comes into the game riding high with five wins from their last six outings. Players like Luka Maver, who previously suited up for the Pioneers, lead the charge for Linz. While the Black Wings may be favorites, Vorarlberg is a team that has shown the ability to compete strongly against top opponents this season.

Migross Supermercati Asiago Hockey – HC TIWAG Innsbruck
A tough road challenge awaits Innsbruck in Asiago. The hosts boast a dynamic offense but are defensively vulnerable, allowing an average of six goals per game in their last outings. Currently 12th in the standings, Innsbruck could leapfrog Asiago with a victory. Asiago’s offensive firepower comes from top scorers like Saracino, Gennaro, and Ierullo, who rank among the league's best. The "Sharks" need to improve their scoring efficiency, as recent games have highlighted struggles to convert opportunities. Having edged Asiago in a shootout earlier this season, Innsbruck will look to exploit the Italians' defensive shortcomings and extend their streak.

HCB Südtirol Alperia – Olimpija Ljubljana
In a high-stakes matchup, the Bolzano Foxes face a red-hot Olimpija Ljubljana team. Bolzano, sitting just one point behind the league leaders, will look to reclaim momentum after a recent loss in Salzburg. Ljubljana, currently fifth, has put together an impressive season, built around a core of Slovenian talent and bolstered by key international signings. Goalie Lukas Horak, with a 92.4% save percentage and stellar penalty-killing stats, has been a game-changer for Olimpija. The Foxes must deliver a strong all-around performance to secure victory. In their first meeting this season, Bolzano claimed a convincing 5-2 win and will aim to replicate that success.
