In 2018, he moved to the American Hockey League for two seasons with the Texas Stars, scoring 24 points (14+10) in 79 appearances. He also made it 51 games and 45 points (22+23) in the ECHL in an Idaho Steelheads jersey. He started the 2020/21 season in the East Coast with the Florida Everblades before seeking a new challenge in Europe. He found his new home in the DEL in Augsburg, where he fully convinced and was also confirmed for the following year: in 66 games in the jersey of the Panthers he scored a total of 45 points (19 goals and 26 assist). In the 2021/22 season he was the fourth best scorer of his team.

Brad McClure: "The decision for Bolzano was very easy for me. We are talking about a club with a long and successful tradition, one of the top teams in the ICE. All this and being part of a group of many good players is a great incentive for me. I expect a very competitive championship: in my first two years in Europe, I noticed that many players focus on speed and technique, and there is also a lot of emphasis on disc possession. Our goal must be to make it to the end by having a Regular Season as the main protagonist."
