The left-shooter played nine full seasons in the Allsvenskan League - mostly for his hometown club Vasteras IK, where he also took responsibility as an assistant captain for 3 years. He made 447 appearances (232 points). In between, Frycklund was under contract in the SHL. For Linköping, he forwarded a total of 52 times (10 scorer points) in 2019 to 2021. After the signing of Schofield and Sill, there is now another "pure" center forward in the squad, and several other players can also be used in this position. Frycklund receives the jersey with the back number 67.

Statement Mikael Frycklund: "I am very happy to come to Bruneck, to meet my teammates as well as coaches and to play in front of the fans. I think we will have a lot of fun and hope for a long playoff run. See you at the first practice on Friday!"
