Thursday will be the second Alps Hockey League clash between the EC-KAC Future Team and the Hockey Unterland Cavaliers within 48 hours. On Tuesday, the league newcomer from South Tyrol won clearly with 6:1. In addition, the Red Bull Hockey Juniors and the HC Meran/o Pircher face each other for the second time this season. The first duel of the season was decided by the Young Bulls with 3:2.

For the second time within 48 hours, the EC-KAC Future Team and the Hockey Unterland Cavaliers will face each other on Thursday. On Tuesday, the league newcomer prevailed clearly with 6:1. Unterland already led with 5:0 after 29 minutes, with the goal scored by Santeri Haarala, who is currently HCU's top scorer with 22 points, just one point behind league top scorer Zan Jezovsek. It was the third win in a row for the South Tyroleans, who are fourth in the standings. The table 14th EC-KAC Future Team conceded the second defeat in a row, the tenth in total from the past twelve games.

The second game on Thursday will be played by the Red Bull Hockey Juniors and the HC Meran/o Pircher. The Young Bulls were able to win all of their past three games and are in second place in the standings. On Tuesday they celebrated a 5:3 away win in Cortina. Merano was successful against the Steel Wings with 3:1. It was the third win from the past five games for the twelfth-placed team in the standings. At home, the Young Bulls always scored at least one point so far this season, five of the six games they could even win. Against Merano, the team from Salzburg has been victorious in all three AHL duels so far. In the first duel of the season, on September 29th, they won with 3:2.
