German veteran for Graz defense

The Moser Medical Graz99ers have strengthened their defense with German veteran Korbinian Holzer, after the 36-year-old spent the last three seasons with Adler Mannheim -  before that, the former international played over 200 games in the NHL.

With Korbinian Holzer, the Moser Medical Graz99ers have filled their “last import position in defense for the time being”. Korbinian Holzer brings “not only hockey sense but also a physical component” and is regarded as an “absolute leader”. He was drafted in 2006 and then played in the NHL for the first time in the 2010-11 season. He played a total of 211 (6G|11A) games in the best league in the world. Holzer signed a two-year contract in Graz.
