Ninth win in a row for Val Gardena
The HC Gherdeina valgardena.it continues an impressive series. The South Tyroleans celebrated a 2:1 win at EC-KAC Future Team and remained undefeated for the ninth game in a row. In a very even match, it took until the 34th minute of play before Tim Lindner put the visitors in front with his second goal of the season. The narrow lead lasted until the 57th minute of play, before the Slovenian Nal Brodnik scored the equalizer and thus destroyed the possible first shutout for Colin Furlong in the dress of the "Furie". But the young, strong fighting Klagenfurt team remained without a point in the end, because the Canadian Brad McGowan provided the decision in favor of the guests in the 59th minute of the game. Last season's MVP scored his 14th goal of the season in the power play. It was the ninth game in a row in which the 31-years-old scored at least one point. For the Future Team from Klagenfurt it was the fifth defeat in a row.

Red Bull Hockey Juniors give Silver Caps no chance
The Red Bull Hockey Juniors were able to celebrate a clear 5:1 away victory at the bottom of the table, Vienna Capitals Silver. The Young Bulls led 3:0 after the first period in their first duel of the season with the Viennese. On the way to their fifth win in a row, German Daniel Assavolyuk opened the scoring already in the third minute of the game. It was the third goal of the season for the 17-years-old. In the second period, the visitors went up 4:0 in a double powerplay before the hosts scored the first goal shortly before the end of the period. Luca Auer (41.) finally made the 5:1 in favor of the Young Bulls. For the 17-years-old it was the second goal of the evening and already the 14th goal of the season.

Ritten reduces gap to top three
The Ritten Buam gave the Steel Wings Linz no chance in a 7:2 home win and reduced the gap to third-placed Asiago to two points. The "Buam" decided the game against the table 15th in the second period. In this, the home side, who won their fourth game in their fifth meeting with SWL, pulled away to a 5:1 lead. At the beginning of the final period, the guests were able to reduce the score to 2:5, but at the latest when Simon Kostner increased the score to 6:2, the game was finally decided. The final goal was scored by Finn Lasse Uusivirta in the 51st minute.

Only second AHL win for Fassa over Sterzing
In the twelfth AHL duel against the Wipptal Broncos Weihenstephan, the SHC Fassa Falcons managed their second win. The first one was more than five years ago, on November 16th, 2016! For the Broncos, the decline continues this season. The table-14th conceded already the sixth defeat in a row. The "Falcons" are now just ahead of Sterzing in thirteenth place thanks to the 4:2 win. The home side had the better start in the game, taking the lead in the 15th minute of play. Steven McParland equalized 23 seconds before the end of the period. The Canadian thus always scored a point in 16 of 17 games this season. Sebastiano Rossi finally put the visitors in front in the second period. Diego Iori increased the lead to 3:1 with his tenth goal of the season in the 46th minute of the game. The hosts were able to reduce the score once again, but Daniel Tedesco finally scored the decision via an empty net goal.
