Important signings in Ghederina
Goalie Misa Pietilä went from EC Bregenzerwald to HC Gherdeina valgardena.it. Misa Pietilä was a key-player for the „Wälder“ in the past two seasons, he had a save% of 90.9 and a GAA of 3.05 out of 38 games 2017/18. Besides, David Roupec will defend for the „Furies“ 2018/19 as well. The 26-year old Czech was the Pointbest defenseman in the team 2017/18, he had 30 points (7G/23A) out of 30 games.
 
Two youngsters join Kitzbühel
With Maximilian Egger (AUT) and Arturs Homjakovs (LAT) two big talents join EC „Die Adler“ Stadtwerke Kitzbühel. Homjakovs is Latvian U20-Nationalteam player. The 20-year old forward went for goals and points in his home country so far. Homjakovs had 39 points (16G/23A) out of 62 MHL-games for HK Riga 2017/18. On top of that,  he finished the past season with his home-club HK Venta 2002 scoring another six points (2G/4A) out of five games in Latvia‘s second highest League. Besides, Austrian defenseman Maximilian Egger went from the Red Bull Hockey Juniors to Kitzbühel. The 21-year old Austrian was a key-player in his team 2017/18, he had 22 points (6G/16A) out of 45 matches and he successfully qualified with the Mozart Citizens for the Alps Hockey League Playoffs. Besides the defenseman played for EC Red Bull Salzburg in the Erste Bank Eishockey Liga past season as well.
 
Pirmann returns to Klagenfurt
Markus Pirmann returns to Klagenfurt. The 29-year old forward will bring much experience to EC-KAC II: Pirmann has already won the Erste Bank Eishockey Liga with Klagenfurt's first team 2009 and 2013 and he spent the last three seasons with the Moser Medical Graz99ers in Austrias hightest League. Markus Pirmann played 54 games for the Styrians 2017/18, scoring eleven points (6G/5A). Besides, Pirmann will work as a youth coach in Klagenfurt in the future. Kern, Rassl, Goritschnig and Zandonella leave Klagenfurt.
 
Youngster returns to Feldkirch
The FBI VEU Feldkirch got youngster Gregor Pilgram back! The 20-year old defender spent the past years in Switzerland. Austrias U20 National team player defended for HC Davos‘ U20 team last season and he scored nine points (2G/7A) out of 42 games.
 
Contract extensions in Italy
The defensemen Ivan Tauferer, Christoph Vigl, Andreas Lutz and goalie Hannes Treibenreif will give a big boost to the Rittner Buam‘s defense 2018/19 as well.
Besides, the Italians David Laner (F), Ivan Althuber (D) and Danny Elliscasis (D) will go into another season with HC Pustertal Wolves.
