The Italian Alex Caffi will play for the Pioneers Vorarlberg next season. The 31-year-old, native of Varese, has already been active in Vorarlberg since 2017. He has already played 215 games for the VEU Feldkirch in the Alps Hockey League. For Andrew Sarauer it will already be the ninth season with Hydro Fehérvár AV19. So far, the 37-year-old forward has played 387 games for the current runner-up.

Alex Caffi spent his youth in Lugano, Switzerland, before returning to his native Italy in 2012 to play for Neumarkt/Egna. After further stints with Milano, Cortina and a short stint with the Mississippi RiverKings in the USA (2 games), the 31-year-old goalkeeper signed on with Feldkirch in 2017. Now Caffi will already enter his sixth season in Vorarlberg, his first in the win2day ICE Hockey League.

Veteran Sarauer stays in Fehérvár
Andrew Sarauer will continue to play for Hydro Fehérvár AV19 in the upcoming season. It will be the ninth season for the Canadian-born player with the Hungarians. So far, the 37-year-old forward has played 387 games for the current runner-up (311 points). His only detour from Fehérvár to another club was in the 2017/18 season, in which the left-footer played for Villach. Otherwise, Sarauer has played consistently with the Hungarians since 2013.
