The Moser Medical Graz99ers announced the basic squad for the coming season. The squad consists of 15 players. In addition, it was announced that numerous import players in particular will have to leave the club.

It has been known for quite some time that goalkeeper Felix Nussbacher, Kevin Moderer, Travis Oleksuk, Oliver Setzinger, Daniel Oberkofler, Julian Pauschenwein, Killian Rappold, Clemens Krainz, Erik Kirchschläger, Philipp Lindner and Amadeus Egger already signed a new contract or have multi-year contracts.

Further contract extensions announced
Now the contracts with Charlie Dodero, Ken Ograjensek, Dominik Grafenthin and Lukas Kainz were extended.

Numerous import players have to leave the club
On the other hand, numerous import players are no longer part of the team. Cristopher Nihlstorp, Sebastian Collberg, Joakim Hillding, Kalle Johansson, Trevor Hamilton, Robin Weihager, Matt Garbowsky and Alexander Reichenberg have not been given new contracts. Dwight King will also no longer be part of the team. The two-time Stanley Cup champions was one of the figureheads of the 99ers in recent years. From the Austrian point of view, goalkeeper Thomas Höneckl and striker Zintis Zusevics are no longer in the Styrian squad.
