FTC-Telekom – Moser Medical Graz99ers 3–8 (2–4, 0–3, 1–1)
The 99ers got off to a dream start in Budapest, jumping out to a 4–0 lead within the first 14 minutes. Vela scored twice, while Hora — playing his first game after a long injury break — impressed with a goal and an assist. Zündel also found the net. FTC managed to cut the deficit to 2–4, but the Styrians sealed the deal in the middle frame: Collins, Currie, and Vela (completing his hat trick) extended the lead to 7–2. In the final period, Kotkansalo struck on the power play to make it 8–2 before Green scored a consolation goal for the hosts. With this win, Graz is now just one point behind league leaders KAC.

Hydro Fehérvár AV19 – EC iDM Wärmepumpen VSV 5–4 (2–2, 2–1, 1–1)
After winning 4–2 in Budapest the previous day, VSV fell just short in Fehérvár on Sunday. In front of roughly 4,000 fans, Archibald opened the scoring for the Hungarians before Scherbak and Rebernig turned the game around for the visitors. Kuralt equalized right before the first intermission. In the second period, Gerlach scored twice for the hosts, while Hughes answered for the efficient side from Carinthia. Only 24 seconds into the third period, Rebernig tied the game again with his second goal, but the momentum swung back to the home team as captain Erdely netted the deciding 5–4. The “Devils” held on to secure their first victory after seven consecutive losses, climbing to ninth place in the standings.
