On Wednesday at 5 pm, the Moser Medical Graz99ers complete their first successful Champions Hockey League campaign, as the Austrian side takes on Mountfield HK on the road. A successful first appearance in the Champions Hockey League ends for the Moser Medical Graz99ers in the return-leg against Mountfield HK on the last gameday of the group stage. While Graz has no chance anymore for reaching the knockout stage, the Czech side remains in the race for being promoted to the last 16, as they are placed second in group H. With any win against Graz, Mountfield is through to eighth finals. If Graz, which struggles with a lot of injuries again, wins the group stage closer, the Czech side needs support of Frölunda, which hits the road Tuesday night at Cardiff Devils.

Daniel Oberkofler, Kalle Johansson, Joakim Hillding, Matt Garbowsky and Julian Pauschenwein will miss Graz’s last CHL-game due to injuries. While Hillding and Johansson are expected to be back next week and Pauschenwein end of October, Oberkofler and Garbowsky a final medical diagnosis is missing. Therefor, Sebastian Collberg is back on the team.
