The Moser Medical Graz99ers managed to get their second win after the break due to medical precautionary reasons, despite having a bad start: With Adam Lapsansky (2.) and Mitch Hults (3.), who maintains his goal scoring streak, the Slovakian side led 2:0 early in the game. Further, Bratislava slowed down a little bit and gave Graz the chance to come back almost immediately: Antony Cameranesi (6.) scored top shelf to half the deficit, Hunter Fejes tied it at two.

In the second frame Graz seemed to control the game for the bigger part, but got rewarded late, as Parker MacKay lit the lamp on powerplay almost on the buzzer. Right at the beginning of the last Oliver Setzinger turned it over and Adam Bezak (43.) scored the equalizer. Still Graz came back, quickly, as Domink Grafenthin (45.) converted a hard fought rebound and MacKay doubled up with 6,5 minutes left. Bratislava did not give up but could only narrowed the gap.
