With Jérémy Grégoire, the spusu Vienna Capitals have brought back their third-best scorer from the 22-23 win2day ICE Hockey League season. After a year in the Finnish Liiga, the Canadian has now signed a two-year contract. The HC Pustertal Wölfe also announced the return of some players, as Lukas De Lorenzo Meo, Tommaso Traversa and Davidi Conci will make their comeback in Bruneck.

In his first season in Vienna, Jérémy Grégoire recorded 42 points (17G|25A) in a total of 50 appearances. Grégoire spent last season with the Finnish top club Ilves. The Canadian reached the round of 16 of the Champions Hockey League with the club from Tampere but was knocked out in the quarter-finals of the domestic Liiga despite finishing second in the basic round. In 57 competitive games for Ilves, the right winger recorded eleven points (6G|5A).

Meanwhile, the HC Pustertal Wölfe have announced the return of three players: With Tommaso Traversa (S.G. Cortina Hafro), Davide Conci (Wipptal Broncos Weihenstephan) and Lukas De Lorenzo Meo, who was on the verge of ending his career after suffering an injury in the previous preparation, three forwards are back in action.
