The 28-year-old Canadia arrived from Ravensburg Towerstars, after the reigning DEL2 champion did not extend the tryout contract ahead of the international break. He posted seven points (6G | 1A) in nine games for the German side. In 2018-19 he played in DEL2 too and was Eispiraten Crimmitschau’s top scorer with 36 goals and 28 assists. His career overseas started back in 2017-18, as he got hired by the EC Panaceo VSV, collecting 23 points for the “eagles” in 40 games in the Erste Bank Eishockey Liga. He finished 2017-18 season at Slovakian team HKM Zvolen.

„We were about to sign Rob Flick in summer. Now we had to react to the injury. I expect him to become a great scorer because of his physical play”, head coach Mirsolav Fryčer said.
