Furlong Shutout in first Ljubljana defeat
The HC Pustertal Wolves inflicted the first defeat of the season on HK SZ Olimpija Ljubljana and won on the road 1-0. It was the first road win of the South Tyroleans since February and after nine consecutive defeats. The main reason for this success was the reigning AHL MVP Colin Furlong, who did not allow a goal, stopped all 38 shots at his goal. For Furlong it was the second shutout this season. The decisive goal in the 16th minute of the game was scored by Lukas De Lorenzo Meo, who scored for the first time this season.

Salzburg back on winning ways
The Red Bull Hockey Juniors recovered after the recent overtime defeat, which stopped a winning streak of four games, with a success in Klagenfurt. In the farm team duel at EC-KAC II, the Salzburg side won 1-0 thanks to Manuel Alberg, who scored the lone goal of the match in the 25th minute. For him it was the second goal of the season, the eighth point 20/21. Florian Bugl scored his third shutout in this campaign with 30 shots held. Opposite Florian Vorauer held 49 of 50 – and despite the defeat he convinced too.
