The HC Pustertal has confirmed its coaching staff for the upcoming season in the bet-at-home ICE Hockey League. Luciano Basile and Matej Hovecar will lead the South Tyroleans in their premiere season.

The 61-year-old Luciano Basile took over the ICE newcomer at the beginning of the past season, finished regular season of the Alps Hockey League with a record of 24 wins out of 36 games. Prior that, the Canadian was coaching for several years in the first French league and was also head coach of the Spanish national team. "We haven't had the chance to show what we had worked on lately. That's why we are motivated for the next step. We want to create a team that wears the Wolves jersey with pride. HC Pustertal wants to offer modern, fast hockey and perform with the passion that reflects people and fans in Pustertal," Basile said in a first statement.

Matej Hovecar continues to be assistant coach. The Slovenian, active for Ljubljana for many years as a player, has been part of the HCP organization since the 2019/20 season. Patrick Bona remains Sport Manager of the club, Diego Scandella advisor of the Sport Management Staff.
