EVB Eagles South Tyrol established clear control early in their matchup against the VSV Lady Hawks, jumping out to a 3–0 lead in the opening period. Although Villach improved after the first intermission, they were never able to threaten the Eagles’ lead and ultimately fell 7–1.

The Sabres St. Pölten lived up to their role as favorites against Budapest Jegkorong Akademia. The home side controlled play from the opening puck drop, though Budapest initially held strong. In the second period, the Sabres took full command and extended their lead to 4–0. The visitors could not recover and were forced to settle for a clear defeat.

Metropolia Silesia got off to the stronger start in their clash with the Graz99ers Huskies, quickly pulling ahead 2–0. They increased the lead to 5–0 midway through the game before the Huskies registered their first goal. Early in the third, Graz cut the deficit to 5–2, but could not make the contest any closer.

Aisulu Almaty and the KSV Highlanders delivered an intense battle on Sunday. The Kazakh side started stronger and built a 2–0 lead in the first period. The Highlanders responded well after the break, fought their way back into the game and made it 2–1 in the second frame. They tied the game in the third, but Aisulu struck again to regain the lead—only for the Highlanders to answer once more. After a scoreless overtime, KSV completed the comeback and secured the win in the shootout.
