Thomas Hundertpfund went through all the stages of Klagenfurt's youth department from 1993 onwards, he made his debut in the senior team in 2006 and since then he has only not been part of it in one season - 2013/14, when he played for Timrå IK. Since his return from Sweden, Thomas Hundertpfund has finished each of his nine seasons with a positive plus/minus balance and has built up a reputation for improving considerably in the decisive phase of a season. He confirmed this in this season as well: in the matches after the international break in February, no other KAC player scored more points than the center (twelve), and none of his teammates achieved a better plus/minus rating (+10) during this period. In total, Thomas Hundertpfund has played 845 competitive games (823 in the league, 22 in the Champions Hockey League) for his home club, in which he has recorded 413 points (148 goals, 265 assists). In addition, the forward made a total of 117 international appearances for the Austrian senior national team between 2009 and 2021, 52 of them at the Olympic Games or World Championships.
