EC Red Bull Salzburg and HCB Südtirol Alperia duel each other in pool H of the Champions Hockey League for top position. Both teams are already qualified for the round of 16 - and have shown strong performances in their first four games: The "Red Bulls" are one of three teams (Leksands IF, Fribourg-Gotteron) in this campaign holding the maximum number of points. The "Foxes", which are qualified for the top-16 too, have nine points, collecting points in every group game so far. With any win Salzburg will pin down first spot in group H.

EC-KAC needs one more point to reach round of sixteen
EC-KAC needs one more point from the last two games against HC Donbass Donetsk to reach the round of 16 in the Champions Hockey League. The "Rotjacken" are still undefeated in the current CHL season, have ten points as first in Group G and thus five points ahead of the Ukrainians. Klagenfurt have shown a strong performance on the defensive end, together with IFK Helsinki (four each), is the team with the fewest goals conceded in the current competition.
