Nick Welsh moved from DEL club Augsburg to Innsbruck. The 27-year-old Canadian also played in Finland last season and previously spent two seasons with the Nürnberg Ice Tigers and in Slovakia, so he has plenty of European experience. In the North American AHL, Nick Welsh played for the Rochester Americans. Welsh is the last addition to the Sharks' defense.

Nick Welsh: "I'm obviously very happy and excited. I can't wait to get to know Innsbruck, the new team, the staff and the fans."

Pustertal extends with Mantinger and Hasler
Leonhard Ludwig - "Lenny" - Hasler and Matthias Mantinger will continue to play for the HC Pustertal. Both cracks signed a two-year contract. Simon Berger, on the other hand, will not receive a contract with the Wolves in 2024/25. The 24-year-old forward has made no fewer than 323 appearances for the Wolves in the Alps Hockey League, Serie A and ICE Hockey League since returning from the junior team in Bad Tölz.

Matthias Mantinger: "I like the path that HCP is taking and am convinced that we can go far with this team. I will do everything I can to improve on last season and I am delighted to continue to be a part of this team and the HCP."
