Hughes secures rollercoaster win for Villach
The EC iDM Wärmepumpen VSV completed its road trip with a 6-5 win at Hydro Fehérvár AV19 after Friday's defeat in Vienna (2:3) and took revenge on the Hungarians for last year's series loss in the semifinals. With their third win of the season, Villach improved to eighth place in the standings. In the first period, goalie JP Lamoureux shouldered his team, then the vice-champion, thanks to efficient powerplay, was on the pressure, before the "Adler" regained the lead at the beginning of the last period through John Hughes (43.).
