HC Tiroler Wasserkraft Innsbruck is already busy planning for the coming season and has extended the contracts of defenseman Kele Steffler and back-up goalie Markus Gratzer.

Kele Steffler and HC TIWAG Innsbruck are continuing their partnership. The defenseman will continue to strengthen the Sharks' defense in the upcoming season. The 25-year-old made 46 league appearances last season, recording 9 points (1G/8A). In the plus/minus statistics, Kele was the best Sharks defenseman together with Nick Albano with +9. In the Champions Hockey League, Steffler appeared seven times for the Sharks and also scored his first CHL goal.

Kele Steffler: "I'm looking forward to playing here in Innsbruck again next year. I love the city and especially the fans. I'll give it my all again to be even more successful with the team next season."

Home-grown goalie stays in Innsbruck

HC TIWAG Innsbruck has tied another player to the club. Goalie Markus Gratzer has extended his contract with the Sharks. The 20-year-old made his professional debut last season and played in both the win2day ICE Hockey League and the Champions Hockey League.

Markus Gratzer: "I'm delighted to be able to continue playing for my home club. Last season I was able to gain valuable new experience. I hope that I can take another step forward in my professional development in the coming season and recommend myself for more minutes."
