In Saturday’s bet-at-home ICE Hockey League’s games the HC TIWAG Innsbruck – Die Haie turned around an early two-goal deficit to take a 5:2 home-win against EC GRAND Immo VSV. While the spusu Vienna Capitals cheered their second season-victory against ICE leader HCB Südtirol Alperia, Hydro Fehérvár AV19’s roller-coaster win extended Moser Medical Graz99ers’ losing streak to seven.

Sunday night, Vienna stopps by at EC Red Bull Salzburg in the PULS 24 game. Further, the meeting of EC-KAC and iClinic Bratislava Capitals will be available as pay-per-view video-stream on live.ice.hockey.

Vienna takes second season-win against leader
With a 3:2 road-win after shootout the spusu Vienna Capitals cheered their second season-victory against bet-at-home ICE leader HCB Südtirol Alperia to remain third in standings. In the 50th duel, the „Caps” took the 31st win, while Bolzano had to admit the second home-defeat 20-21. After the “foxes” turned around the early deficit in the middle frame, Ty Loney sent the game to overtime – and decided it in the shootout.



Roller-coaster win lifts Fehérvár to second place
A 5:4 roller-coaster win at home lift Hydro Fehérvár AV19 to second spot in the bet-at-home ICE Hockey League. The Moser Medical Graz99ers, which had only 15 skaters available, had to take the seventh consecutive defeat, remaining sixth in standings. The third season meeting of these two teams was again won by the home team, which let slip away twice a one-goal lead and turned around twice a one-goal difference. Anze Kuralt finally hit the game winner with less than four minutes left.



Innsbruck dominates Villach

With a 5:2 home-win the HC TIWAG Innsbruck – Die Haie retook seventh place in standings, trailing only three points to sixth ranked Graz. Despite an early two-goal lead, the EC GRAND Immo VSV had to take the fourth consecutive defeat, the first under new head coach Rob Daum. Colton Saucerman and Braden Christoffer each scored a brace for the “sharks”, which remain unbeaten in the third season-meeting with Villach too.
