Only three and not as planned four games are scheduled in the win2day ICE Hockey League on Tuesday. Second-placed HC TIWAG Innsbruck - Die Haie is aiming for the fourth home win in a row and can return to the top of the table with a point win. Opponents are the Moser Medical Graz99ers. The BEMER Pioneers Vorarlberg are hoping for their first point win since October 26th, when they host the EC Red Bull Salzburg for the first time. In addition, there will be the second ICE duel between the HC Pustertal Wölfe and Migross Supermercati Asiago Hockey.

The game between the spusu Vienna Capitals and HCB Südtirol Alperia, originally scheduled for Tuesday, 29.11.2022, has been postponed due to a new defect in the cooling system of the Vienna venue. The two teams and the win2day ICE Hockey League are currently in intensive coordination on the further procedure. An alternative date will be announced soon.

The HC TIWAG Innsbruck – Die Haie have won seven of their last eight games and are currently tied for second place with league leader Bolzano. With a point win on Tuesday, they would return to the top of the table. Seven places and 17 points behind them are the Moser Medical Graz99ers, whose lead on the eleventh place is currently four points. On Sunday, the Styrians narrowly prevailed against Vienna 4:3 after overtime. Victor Granholm was responsible for the decision. The Norwegian also scored to make it 2:2 at prepared one goal. The 25-year-old was thus also named win2day's top performer of the 23rd round. For the 99ers it was the second home win in a row, but away they could not win any of the past three games. HCI, on the other hand, was victorious in the past three home games. Especially in the offense and in the power play, things continue to go top for the "Sharks". The reigning champion EC Red Bull Salzburg will play fort he first time at the BEMER Pioneers Vorarlberg on Tuesday. In the first season duel in Salzburg ten days ago, the Red Bull clearly kept the upper hand with 6:1. It was the last victory for RBS so far. This was followed by four defeats in a row across all competitions. Only on Sunday the fifth in the table lost to the Black Wings clearly with 2:6. The Pioneers have been waiting for a point win for over a month now. On October 26th, the team from Vorarlberg won 3:2 in Linz, followed by seven defeats in a row. The last four games PIV had to play away from home. They have not played at home since November 1st.

In the third game of the day the HC Pustertal Wölfe will face Migross Supermercati Asiago Hockey. Both teams faced each other in the win2day ICE Hockey League once so far. On November 6th, Asiago was successful in front of their home crowd with 3:2. In the meantime, the league newcomer already led 3:0. After the success against Pustertal, Asiago was only in action twice in the league, against Olimpija (2:1 win) and on Sunday in Klagenfurt (2:3 loss). In between, they made it to the final tournament of the Continental Cup. Pustertal ended a four-game losing streak that began at Asiago last Saturday with a 3:1 home win over the Pioneers Vorarlberg. However, the "Wolves" are very strong in Bruneck, with four wins from the past five games. Asiago won only two out of nine matches away from home this season. In the table, both teams are currently below the line. Pustertal is eleventh with 23 points and is three points behind tenth-placed Olimpija. Asiago follows in twelfth place with 17 points, but with three games less played than the South Tyroleans.
