Intense Weekend in the EWHL

The European Women’s Hockey League (EWHL) has an action-packed weekend ahead: nine games are scheduled from Friday to Sunday. The weekend kicks off with a top clash on Friday between HK PSRZ Bratislava and the KSV Highlanders.

The opening game of this intense weekend in the EWHL is a must-watch matchup. On Friday, the KSV Highlanders, currently fifth in the standings, travel to face second-place HK PSRZ Bratislava. Their previous encounter was a thrilling contest that Bratislava narrowly won 4–3.

On Saturday, the Highlanders continue their road trip to Bolzano, where they will face the EVB Eagles South Tyrol, who sit just ahead of them in the standings. Meanwhile, the other three Austrian teams also have away games on Saturday: Lakers Kärnten face MAC Budapest, the Sabres St. Pölten take on Budapest Jegkorong Akademia, and the Graz 99ers Huskies meet Tauron Metropolia Silesia.

The intense weekend wraps up on Sunday with four more games. While the Lakers and the Sabres will each play their second games in Budapest, the Huskies have a rematch against Silesia. Additionally, the DEC Salzburg Eagles host the EVB Eagles South Tyrol.
