Jan Drozg was born in Maribor, Slovenia, but completed the final stages of his hockey development in the top junior leagues of Sweden (Leksands IF) and Canada (Shawinigan Cataractes). The Pittsburgh Penguins selected the forward in the 2017 NHL Entry Draft, and he spent the following years primarily with the organization's farm teams, appearing in a combined 127 AHL and ECHL games through 2022.

After his entry-level contract with the five-time Stanley Cup champions expired, Drozg moved to Russia. Between 2022 and 2025, he recorded 76 points in 151 KHL games, mainly with Amur Khabarovsk and also with Kunlun Red Star. At the same time, he established himself as a regular on the Slovenian national team. Since making his senior debut at just 18 years of age, Drozg has represented Slovenia at six IIHF World Championships. At this year's tournament in Switzerland, he finished as his country's second-leading scorer.

After taking additional time to explore his options, Drozg joined the 2025/26 season late, eventually signing with Olimpija Ljubljana in early December. He registered 27 points (11 goals, 16 assists) in 31 games for the Green Dragons before their strong campaign came to an end with a semifinal loss to HC Falkensteiner Pustertal.

Scott Valentine joins Milano
Scott Valentine wore the HCB Südtirol Alperia jersey from 2022 until the end of last season. During his four seasons in South Tyrol, the Canadian played a key role in the club's success, helping the team reach the league final in 2023.

The defenseman appeared in 233 ICE League games, recording 69 points, 218 penalty minutes and an impressive +40 plus/minus rating. He also added 12 Champions Hockey League appearances, collecting three points. In Milano, Valentine reunites with head coach Shedden, who coached him last season.

FTC-Telekom add Olivér Farkas
The 21-year-old Hungarian Olivér Farkas will in the future suit up for FTC-Telekom. The defenseman has spent the past four years playing in Finland’s junior leagues, having previously appeared in 29 games in the Hungarian Erste Liga.

Scott Kosmachuk Stays with the Capitals
Scott Kosmachuk will continue to suit up for the Vienna Capitals next season. Due to injury, the 32-year-old Canadian was limited to just 13 games last season, recording nine points (two goals, seven assists). Over his ICE Hockey League career, the forward has totaled 129 points (58 goals, 71 assists) in exactly 129 regular-season games for EC iDM Wärmepumpen VSV, EC Red Bull Salzburg and the Vienna Capitals.

Roni Allén remains with the Pioneers
Roni Allén is set to enter his third season with the Pioneers Vorarlberg. Since arriving in Vorarlberg, the 27-year-old Finn has developed into a key pillar of the team's defensive unit, appearing in 69 games to date. The Pioneers also announced the return of 20-year-old forward Colin Leeb to his hometown of Feldkirch. After spending the past few years in North America, he will now join the club's senior team.
