Tenth shutout for Irving
In his season debut Leland Irving posted his tenth shutout for the HCB Südtirol Alperia to give the South Tyrolean a 4:0 win in the Palaonda against the iClinic Bratislava Capitals. Dustin Gazley put the home team ahead in the 12th minute as he intercepted a shot from Krefeld Penguin loaner Alexander Trivellato and netted in. Trivellato then raised the score to 2-0 in the middle frame, putting a blue liner perfectly under the crossbar. The other two goals were scored by Bozen's powerplay units, who had already convinced in the first five games: First David Alberga (31./PP1) scored a free rebound, then Daniel Catenacci (56.) to 4-0 after a deflection. The forward thus prolonged his goal scoring streak, scoring again in the sixth consecutive game.

Porsberger gave Graz eighth season win
The Swede Johan Porsberger has led the Moser Medical Graz99ers in their 500th Regular Season away game to a 4:3 comeback victory after shootout at HC TIWAG Innsbruck - Die Haie. The Styrians, who had to postpone the return of former "shark" Joel Broda, won their second game of the season against the Tyroleans, who were defeated for the third time on home ice with only one goal difference. The sharks had a good start: Braden Christoffer (2.) used a turnover of the  99ers to take the lead, Felix Girard (9.) doubled up after a rebound. In the second frame, Graz seemed much more determined, more aggressive - and turned the game around: First Porsberger (26th) from the right angle into the short corner, then Adis Alagic (33rd) volleyed after the puck jumped in front of the goal and 34 seconds before the second break Porsberger lit the lamp for the second time on pp. The Innsbruck side equalized with another goal from Christoffer (51st). In the overtime both teams had a power play - without success. In the following shootout, Graz immediately used his first two chances to score the extra point.
