With EHC Alge Elastic Lustenau and HC Gherdeina valgardena.it two neighbours in the standing will face on Tuesday at Lustenau. The Lions are ranked 14, the Italians are on place 15. Both clubs collected so far six points (2 wins). On Saturday both teams stayed without points, now they hope to return on the winning-street. At home the Austrians had problems so far, Lustenau lost 2017/18 all three home-games in the Alps Hockey League by one goal difference and never scored more then two goals. For the Italians it is already their seventh road-game, so far the wild-horses got two wins. On the road the Italians offense worked much better than at home: Gherdeina made 18 from their 21 goals on the road. Four from six clashes between this clubs, inter alia the last two meetings, were won by the road-team.

Against Sportivi Ghiacchio Cortina Hafro the Red Bull Hockey Juniors will play their first Alps Hockey League game since 17 days on Wednesday. The Mozart Citizens lost their only game this month on October 1st at Bruneck with 1:2. The last two weeks the Red Bulls were in action in Finland, were they faced Jokerit Helsinki, Mikkelin Jukurit, Vaasan Sport, JYP Jyväskylä, Lahti Pelicans and Lukko Rauma. Cortina arrives at Salzburg with the confidence of 2 wins in a row and the knowledge, that they left this season so far in all their games against teams from Austria (Lustenau, Kitzbühel, Bregenzerwald, Feldkirch and Klagenfurt) the ice as the winner. Besides the Italians, who have the second best offense (38 goals) and with Riley Brace (26 points – 10G/16A) and Zachary Torquato (19 points – 7G/12A) the League’s best scorer in the team, were successful in the last three meetings with the Red Bulls.

EC „Die Adler“ Stadtwerke Kitzbühel and EK Zeller Eisbären will face in the only Austrian clash on Wednesday. The Tyroleans had problems so far in October, they lost all three games this month and scored just one goal per game. In the ranking Kitzbühel run down to place twelve with eleven points (three wins) from eight games. EK Zeller Eisbären is fifth and the best Austrian team. The Polar Bears travel to Ktzbühel with good memories: The team from Pinzgau beat the Eagles lately 3 times, inter alia in this Pre Season with 6:5 after Overtime. Besides EKZ won in this Alps Hockey League season so far all four games against Austrian Teams (Bregenzerwald, Salzburg, Klagenfurt, Lustenau) and was successful lately at home against WSV Sterzing Broncos Weihenstephan.

With Migross Supermercati Asiago Hockey 1935 arrives the team of the hour on Wednesday at Bruneck. The Vice-Champion won the last 6 games and is ranked third with 21 points (seven wins) from eight games. On the road the „Yellow-Reds“ are still unbeaten, Asiago even leads the road-ranking with eleven points (four wins) and a score of 19:7 from four games. With another three road-points on Wednesday at Bruneck the „Yellow-Reds“ could overtake also place 1 in the overall-ranking, if the Rittner Buam lose in the same time at home against HC Fassa Falcons. HC Pustertal Wolves is on place 9. The wolves have problems at home: While Bruneck collected already ten points (three wins) from four games on the road, they got just four points (one win) from five home-games. But take attention: The Wolves won eleven from the last twelve meetings with Asiago, inter alia the last one.

Rittner Buam have the chance to overtake the lead in Alps Hockey League on Wednesday with a home-win over HC Fassa Falcons. At home the second placed team got so far the maximum of twelve points (four wins) and a score of 20:4-goals from four games. The Champion even has the best offense, scored already 39 times. But take attention: HC Fassa Falcons had a good run lately, the guests won three from their last four games, inter alia lately twice. In their last two matches Fassa scored ten goals, while receiving just three. The last three meetings were won by the Ritten Buam.

HC Neumarkt RIWEGA is looking for their first season-win in Alps Hockey League against EC Bregenzerwald. The wild-geese lost so far all nine games and are ranked just on place 16 with one point. In their last four games the Italians came close to celebrate their first victory, they always lost by just one goal. For EC Bregenzerwald the last four rounds were an up and down, after a win always followed a defeat. On the road the „Wälder“ did better so far, they collected nine from their 15 points away from home. At Neumarkt the Austrians won so far once on September 29th 2013 or 1.478 days ago. Since that day the Italians had the upper hand three times in a row at home.
