Jesenice edges out Cortina
HDD SIJ Acroni Jesenice clinched a hard-fought 2-1 win over S.G. Cortina Hafro, ramping up the pressure on table-topping Zell. The hosts, Cortina, struck early to take the lead, but Jesenice found the equalizer on the power play in the second period. Both goaltenders took center stage for much of the game until Erik Svetina broke the deadlock with under two minutes left to play, avoiding overtime. Jesenice solidified their second-place position, closing the gap to just three points behind leader Zell.

Kitzbühel turns up the heat on Zell
The Adler Stadtwerke Kitzbühel dominated their crucial chaser battle against Rittner Buam. The Tyroleans came out flying with a quick double strike. Ritten, however, clawed back by the 33rd minute to tie it 3-3. But the final stretch belonged to the Adler, who powered through to a commanding 7-3 victory. Seven different players lit the lamp for Kitzbühel, who leapfrogged Rittner Buam in the standings to take over third place.

Zell survives in a shootout thriller
League leader EK Die Zeller Eisbären battled to a shootout win over HK Celje. The Slovenians came out strong, building a 3-0 lead by the 24th minute. But Christian Jennes took matters into his own hands, scoring a natural hat trick in just 20 minutes to even the game at 3-3 and force overtime. After a scoreless OT, Nick Huard sealed the deal for Zell in the shootout.

Sterzing overcomes Sisak
The WSV Sterzing Broncos earned a 3-1 victory over KHL Sisak. After a scoreless opening period, Sisak struck first and held the lead for an extended stretch. But the Broncos rallied in the final frame to turn the tide and secure the win.
