The HDD SIJ Acroni Jesenice remains unbeaten on home ice as it won Alps Hockey League’s lone Friday game against EC Bregenzerwald 2:1 after shootout.

For the HDD SIJ Acroni Jesenice it was the ninth victory in the ninth meeting with the EC Bregenzerwald. However, the "Wälder" were able to grab a point from Slovenia for the first time since October 8th, 2017 (3:4 SO). The first two frames belonged with Zan Us and Felix Beck to the two goalies, who with good reflexes kept their sheets clea. The first goal was scored by Julian Metzler (44th), who completed a combination by Adem Kandemir and Julian Zwerger. But the equalizer by Zan Jezovsek (47.) followed promptly - and then it was off to overtime, where the guests were close to victory with a double powerplay. In the shootout Jezovsek then added the decisice penalty and secured Jesenice the second victory in the "Home-and-Away-Round".
