After it came to a different legal interpretation of the result of the presidential vote at the extraordinary general assembly in January 2020, a league-internal arbitration court declared Jochen Pildner-Steinburg as the new president of the bet-at-home ICE Hockey League. The industrialist has now accepted the election and continues the league president's term of office, which will last for over a year. With the Styrian, who continues to be president of Moser Medical Graz99ers, a founding member is now responsible for the management tasks of the league. After the crash of the Austrian league at the turn of the millennium, Pildner-Steinburg was one of the architects of the league, which has established in Europe. He will be supported by the Vice Presidents Dr. René Dimter and Dr. Dieter Knoll as well as Dr. Karl Safron, who most recently headed the league on an interim basis.

"I have been in this league from the beginning and look forward to this new task. We will take on the upcoming challenges together and continue on the path of continuity. The current focus is on the economic recovery of the season that was interrupted by the coronavirus pandemic. This loss for clubs and league must be compensated in the best possible way. In addition, we are preparing ourselves carefully for a difficult new season. We will do everything in our power to ensure that it can take place safely and with our international participants," says Jochen Pildner-Steinburg, giving an insight into his first agenda as President of the bet-at-home ICE Hockey League.

"We have found a harmonious solution, after all, it is for the good of the league and its clubs. We will continue to work closely together to direct the bet-at-home ICE Hockey League together through the uncertain times of the coronavirus pandemic," explains Vice President Dr. Karl Safron.
