Josh Teves, from Calgary, began his career at Princeton University, with which he won the NCAA championship. During his last he signed a one-year contract as an undrafted free agent with the Vancouver Canucks: a few days later, on March 26, he made his NHL debut, it would remain his only appearance in the Canucks jersey. He spent the next two years in the American Hockey League, first in the jersey of the Utica Comets and then the Rochester Americans: in total he scored 29 points in 131 appearances. In the summer of 2022 he came across the pond and was under contract with JYP Jyväskylä in the Finnish Liiga: there he made 48 appearances and collected 3 goals and 7 assists before finishing the season in Switzerland in the Bern jersey (13 games, including 8 in the playoffs).

Josh Teves: "I am looking forward to my new role at the Foxes and being part of this club steeped in tradition. I want to be part of a team that plays for the crown and, after HCB narrowly missed out last year, I know our squad has the potential to bring the trophy home. I can't wait to get to Italy, experience the culture there, the city, and the fans, who I've heard are fantastic: it will be an honor to represent the Foxes, the ICEHL, and Italy in the Champions Hockey League against some of the best teams in Europe."
