JP Lamoureux saved 31 shots on goal to reach his 43rd league shutout, as the 37-year-olf for the first time this season did not concede a goal, helping EC Red Bull Salzburg to a 3-0 home win over EC-KAC, with the league leaders making a clear statement after Friday's defeat in Innsbruck. Salzburg also scored in their fourth duel of the season with the reigning champions, winning three of them. Klagenfurt remained without a point on the road for the first time since October 31st and nine games. The goals in a well-paced game were scored by Florian Baltram (8.) on a wrist shot on power play, Peter Schneider (35.) and Thomas Raffl (58.).

Pustertal moves up to tenth place
HC Pustertal Wölfe proved their strong form also against their direct competitor for a place in the pre-playoffs and defeated the "Haie" with 3:2. With the third win in a row, the ICE newcomer ousted the Tyroleans from tenth place and currently holds the postseason ticket. The "Wolves" took the lead through ex-Innsbruck Max Gerlach (10.) and doubled up early in the second period through Raphael Andergassen (22.). But the Innsbruck side then became stronger and stronger, had more chances already in the middle period - and equalized in the final period with Tim McGauley (46.) and Michael Huntebrinker (53.) scoring. Two and a half minutes left a four-on-four was played, giving much more space used by Emil Kristensen (59.), who scored the game-winner for HC Pustertal.

Dornbirn turns it in the middle frame
The Dornbirn Bulldogs have put an end to their five-game losing streak. In a strong middle frame, the Vorarlberg team turned a one-goal deficit into a 2-1 home win against the Moser Medical Graz99ers. It was only the fourth time the Bulldogs remained successful on home ice this season. The Styrians' lead goal by Lukas Kainz (20.) just 36 seconds before the first intermission was equalized by Pavlo Padakin (23.), after a 2-on-1 he took advantage of the disorganization of and around Christian Engstrand to equalize. About halfway through the game, the second-last turned the game around, with Simeon Schwinger netting the one timer. As the game progressed, DEC goalie Linus Lundin made a total of 38 saves to preserve Dornbirn's second win of the season over Graz.
