Manuel Ganahl came to Klagenfurt before the 2015/16 campaign - after six seasons with the Moser Medical Graz 99ers - and has since played 302 of a possible 303 league games for the EC-KAC. In the process, he collected 222 points (84 goals, 138 assists). A few weeks after winning the bet-at-home ICE Hockey League title, the club and the captain were able to agree on a continuation of the cooperation. Manuel Ganahl's new contract extends until the end of the coming season, but includes several options to extend the term. In addition to his 302 league appearances for the team, the now 30-year-old has also played in 15 of the 16 Champions Hockey League matches in EC-KAC's club history.
Manuel Ganahl on his contract extension with EC-KAC: "It's no secret that I really wanted to stay in Klagenfurt, so I'm very happy that it worked out with the contract extension. I can identify one hundred percent with the club and the path we have taken and I am looking forward to the tasks that are ahead of us."

Pustertal signs first player for ICE debut season
Ivan Althuber became the first player to be signed by HC Pustertal for the bet-at-home ICE Hockey League. The 27-year-old went through all junior levels of HC Pustertal Junior and made his debut for the Wolves in Serie A in 2011 at the age of just 17. The defender gained experience and earned a regular spot at the HCP roster. "I am happy and proud to be part of it, I have already resumed training. New league, new stadium and the games hopefully with our super fans again: the anticipation and motivation is great", says Althuber.
