FTC-Telekom vs. Milano Hockey Club
League newcomers Milano are one of only two teams still unbeaten this season. Milano Hockey Club won their first three games and currently sit second in the standings. FTC-Telekom have played only one game so far, losing 3-5 to Olimpija Ljubljana. The Hungarian side now face one of the most successful teams of the young season in Milano.

Moser Medical Graz99ers vs. Vienna Capitals
Following their dramatic 4-3 overtime win against HCB Südtirol Alperia, the Graz99ers already face their next challenge on home ice. The defending champions will be without goaltender Max Lagacé, who left the game against Bolzano early with a lower-body injury. After a narrow 2-3 opening loss in Bolzano, the Capitals have won their last two games: a 5-4 victory in Innsbruck was followed by a 3-2 home shootout win against Fehérvár on Wednesday. Former Graz99ers defenseman Nick Bailen will also return to his former home.

EC Red Bull Salzburg vs. EC iDM Wärmepumpen VSV
Salzburg are still looking for their first win after three games. Following defeats against KAC and Bolzano, the Red Bulls picked up their first point of the season in Wednesday's 2-3 shootout loss against Innsbruck. VSV have three points from two games. Their 2-1 opening victory in Vorarlberg was followed by a clear 1-6 defeat in the 364th Carinthian Derby on Wednesday. The Eagles have room for improvement especially on the power play, having failed to score in eight opportunities so far. Salzburg have converted two of their 13 power-play opportunities.

Olimpija Ljubljana vs. EC-KAC
Two teams that have made strong starts to the new season meet in Ljubljana. KAC remain perfect after three games with nine points and a 16-4 goal difference. Most recently, the Red Jackets celebrated a convincing 6-1 victory over VSV in the Carinthian Derby. Ljubljana won their first two games in Hungary but suffered a 3-4 defeat in Linz on Wednesday after trailing 0-4. Josh Lawrence scored all three goals for the Slovenian side. The game will also be Olimpija's home opener at Hala Tivoli. Since Ljubljana joined the win2day ICE Hockey League in 2021, KAC have won 13 of the 20 head-to-head meetings.

Steinbach Black Wings Linz vs. Pioneers Vorarlberg
The Black Wings head into their second consecutive home game with momentum. Linz celebrated a 4-3 victory against Olimpija Ljubljana on Wednesday. They now host the Pioneers Vorarlberg, who were still without a point after their first two games of the season.

Two more games are scheduled for Saturday. HC TIWAG Innsbruck host Hydro Fehérvár AV19 at 14:30, before the Vienna Capitals return to action in the evening with a home game against Milano Hockey Club.
