The scorers of the game-winning goals in quarterfinal wins number three and four against Villach will remain with EC-KAC.

Marcel Witting moved from his Tyrolean hometown to Klagenfurt as a junior player back in the fall of 2011, and he made his debut with the red-and-white fighting team in January 2013. After playing in the second division (Kapfenberg, Lustenau, Feldkirch), the forward returned to the KAC in 2018, where he became a reliable and important player in his comeback season on the way to the 31st championship title in the club's history. Between 2020 and 2022, Marcel Witting primarily took on leadership duties in the red-and-white Future Team, and around the time of the switch to the current calendar year, he worked his way back to his regular place in the professional team. So far, the attacker has played 192 competitive games for the first team (184 in the league, eight in the CHL).

Niki Kraus also came to Klagenfurt as a junior player in the summer of 2015, and after three years in which he played more games in the U20 and later in the Future Team than in the professional team, he was promoted to a regular in the EC-KAC first team in the 2018/19 season, which was crowned by the championship. At the same time, Niki Kraus also advanced to become an Austrian national player, making a total of ten international appearances for Team Austria in the past two seasons. The forward has played in 237 competitive games (233 of them in the ICE) and has 35 points (twelve goals, 23 assists) to his name.
