Vienna Capitals - EC-KAC
After three wins in a row, the Capitals lost in Fehérvár on Friday. The KAC will host VSV on Saturday and travel to Vienna the following day. The Caps have won four of their last five home games, while the Red Jackets arrive with four away wins in a row. The KAC have won the last eleven league duels.

Moser Medical Graz99ers - HC Falkensteiner Pustertal
Second against third - the two teams are currently separated by just two points. Graz have alternated wins and losses regularly in their last five games; on Friday, Head Coach Dan Lacroix's team came out on top in overtime against Linz. Pustertal also got off to a successful start after the Christmas break with a clear 7:1 win in Innsbruck. The away teams have always prevailed in the two duels so far this season.

Olimpija Ljubljana - Hydro Fehérvár AV19
Olimpija have lost their last three games, most recently 1:4 in Bolzano. Fehérvár, on the other hand, won twice in a row and improved to seventh place. With 119 goals, the Slovenians have the most prolific offence in the league, while the Hungarians have the second weakest attacking line with 69 goals. In the previous two season meetings the road teams held the upper hand.

EC iDM Wärmepumpen VSV - HCB Südtirol Alperia
Villach will face Klagenfurt in the 362nd Carinthian derby on Saturday, while the blue-and-whites will host Bolzano on Sunday. The South Tyroleans have won three of their last four games and are in fifth place. The Carinthians won the first two duels of the season by a three-goal margin - both at home and away.

EC Red Bull Salzburg - FTC-Telekom
Salzburg currently have the longest winning streak in the win2day ICE Hockey League - the reigning champions have won their last six games. This is Budapest's first game after a one-week break; the Hungarians are currently in eighth place. While the Red Bulls clearly won their first home game against the league newcomers 7-2, Ferencváros narrowly won 2-1 at home in early December.

Steinbach Black Wings Linz - HC TIWAG Innsbruck
Linz conceded their fourth defeat in a row in Graz on Friday, but at least picked up a point. Innsbruck, meanwhile, also clearly lost their fourth duel of the season with Pustertal. Both teams are currently outside the pre-play-off places, with the Upper Austrians just two points off tenth place. Linz have won the last seven head-to-head duels.
