EC-KAC was able to extend with Slovenia's national player Rok Tičar. The club and the center forward agreed to continue their cooperation until the end of the 2022/23 season, with the agreement including various options to extend the term. Rok Tičar moved to EC-KAC towards the end of the 2019/20 season after a difficult career period for him with six employers in three years, where he gradually found his game again and subsequently became a key player for the Red Jackets. His first full season with the KAC was crowned by the championship title, with the Slovenian emerging as the Klagenfurt team's second-leading scorer behind Nick Petersen in both the regular season and the playoffs. In the past season, the Slovenian missed twelve of the 57 league games due to illness and injuries, yet none of his teammates collected more points than him. In total, he played 118 times for the EC-KAC in the ICE, scoring 112 points (34 goals, 78 assists) and a plus/minus rating of +38.

Lanzinger with VSV until 2024/25

EC iDM Wärmepumpen VSV binds youngster Benjamin Lanzinger for the long term and extends the existing contract with the Villach homegrown ahead of schedule by another year until 2024/2025. The 22-year-old Villach native played the most successful season of his career so far in 21/22, not only collecting 27 points but also being voted Opel & Beyschlag Young Star of the Year by ice hockey experts, journalists and fans.

Benjamin Lanzinger: "I feel very, very comfortable in the team and am very happy about the contract extension and the great trust that my home club has placed in me. The preparation for the new season has already started for me. I'm already really looking forward to it. I hope to take the next step in my development this year and to be successful together with the team."

Kristjan and Mark Cepon remain loyal to their home club

Kristjan and Mark Čepon will remain with HK SZ Olimpija in the upcoming season. The two defenders will thus continue to strengthen their hometown team in 2022/23.
