KAC wins derby | Bolzano with big win

The EC-KAC won a Derby poor of goals with 1:0 against the EC Panaceo VSV. The HCB Südtirol Alperia celebrated the highest win of the season and their second highest win in their history in Erste Bank Eishockey Liga. Fehervar AV19 turned the game against leader Salzburg. The Moser Medical Graz99ers celebrated the overall 500th shutout in Erste Bank Eishockey Liga and the spusu Vienna Capitals got a big win against Innsbruck.

99ers end losing streak
After three consecutive defeats in the Erste Bank Eishockey Liga the Moser Medical Graz99ers are back on the road of success. With the 4:0 against the Liwest Black Wings Linz the 99ers celebrated the fourth home win in the fifths home game. The Black Wings had to take the second consecutive defeat. The 99ers paved the way for the success already in the first period taking the 3:0 lead. Daniel Oberkofler scored his third goal in the final period creating the result of 4:0.

KAC wins first Derby of the season
The EC-KAC celebrated in a high quality but poor of goal derby a 1:0 lead. The 326ths derby was the third derby with only one goal in regular time. In the first two periods the fans didn’t have the possibility to cheer for a single goal, but for many saves of the goalies. The EC-Panaceo had the better chances in the beginning but the KAC got more and more chances the longer the games lasted. Andrew Kozek redeemed his KAC in the 51st minute, scoring the one and only goal in this game. The KAC celebrated 168th win and climbed the standings up to the third place.

Fehervar turned game in Salzburg
Hydro Fehervar AV19 turned the game against EC Red Bull Salzburg and celebrated a 3:2 success. While Fehervar ended their losing streak, it was the first game of the EC Red Bull Salzburg with no points. The hosts started strong and created a 2:0 lead after the first period. Andrew Yogan started the race to catch up in the second with the 1:2. In the final period first Harri Tikkanen scored the tie, before Daniel Koger scored the game winner 36 seconds before the buzzer.

Capitals capture second place
The spusu Vienna Capitals decided the second duel of the season against the HC TWK Innsbruck and captured the second place in the standings. Tylor Spurgeon captured the lead for Innsbruck in the first, but then the Caps took the full control. Vienna captured the lead still in the first, increased to 4:1 after second and created a 6:1 win at the end. The Caps are only trailing by two points to leader Salzburg.

Bolzano with big win against Znojmo
The HCB Südtirol celebrated a 9:0 win against the HC Orli Znojmo. This was the highest win overall in this season and the second highest win of Bolzano in Erste Bank Eishockey Liga history. It was already the third consecutive win of the foxes, who captured the sixths place in the standings. Bolzano controlled the game right from the beginning, resulting in a 3:0 lead after the first and a 7:0 lead after second. At this time Sebastien Sylvestre already scored three times. Znojmo couldn’t confront against strong Bolzano and had to take their highest lost in Erste Bank Eishcockey Liga history.
