Fourth win in a row for the EC-KAC, the Klagenfurt team won 3:0 in Bolzano on St. Stephen's Day. Jan Mursak put the visitors ahead as early as the fifth minute. It was also Mursak who made it 2:0 in the middle period on power play. Clemens Unterweger made the final decision in the 54th minute. Sebastian Dahm recorded his fourth shutout of the season and the Red Jackets moved up to fourth place with the win. HCB Südtirol Alperia failed to score for the first time this season and also lost two games in a row for the first time, dropping the "Foxes" to second place.

Hydro Fehérvár AV19 returned to the top of the table. The Hungarians fell behind early on in Linz (Collins/PP2), but turned the game around in the middle period. Trevor Cheek and Martin Stajnoch made it 2:1. Cheek increased the lead to 3:1 in the third period, and the American even scored a hat-trick with an empty netter to make the final score 4:1. It was the second away win for the Hungarians in Upper Austria this season.

Salzburg turns game in the middle period
EC Red Bull Salzburg also won their second game of the season against the Moser Medical Graz99ers, the reigning champions winning 3:2 on the road. The home side took the lead in the 19th minute through Marcus Vela, who prematurely extended his contract for another two years. However, the Red Bulls came into their own in the middle period: in the 24th minute it was captain Peter Schneider who buried an onetimer from the blue line to equalise. The Salzburg team then took command and after a period of pressure they took the lead for the first time through Nienhuis. Nissner even increased it to 1:3, a Gooch goal six minutes before the end was not enough for the 99ers.

VSV extends winning streak
EC iDM Wärmepumpen VSV celebrated its tenth win in a row against HC Pustertal. The visitors took the lead after just 16 seconds through Tommy Purdeller, but the increasingly strong Villach side turned the game around in the first period: Rebernig (16') and van Nes (18') made it 2:1. In the middle period, the home side scored a brace to decide the game and the score remained 4:1 until the final buzzer.

Ljubljana wins after overtime
Eighth-placed Olimpija Ljubljana recorded their second win in a row, but the Slovenians had to go into overtime against Asiago Hockey. Although the home side took an early lead through Jaka Sodja, Asiago equalised shortly before the first break. The Italians even turned the game in their favour in the middle period, with Matteo Gennaro scoring in PP2. However, Olimpija increased the pressure in the third period and Rok Kapel equalised. The game went into overtime, where Nik Simsic scored the game winning goal.

Pioneers leave the bottom of the table
With their first West derby win of the season, the Pioneers Vorarlberg left the bottom of the table, with HC TIWAG Innsbruck now being at the bottom. The home side took the lead in the first period through Sowder, but Elias Stöffler equalised shortly afterwards with his first goal in the win2day ICE Hockey League. After another Pioneers goal and the Innsbruck euqalizer, Josh Passolt again put the superior Pioneers again ahead. Passolt then also gave the team from Feldkirch a two-goal lead for the first time, winning 5:2 in the end.
