With 112kg in body weight and two meters tall, Canadian Keegan Kanzig is one of the strongest defensemen in the win2day ICE Hockey League. Over the course of the season, the 27-year-old has also become increasingly involved in the offensive, scoring two goals and four assists in 61 games.

Paul Stapelfeldt grew up in the Red Bulls' junior and spent in a total of three years with the Red Bull Hockey Juniors in the Alps Hockey League and, after completing his basic military service in the second half of 2020 and correspondingly reduced training, played a large part of the season with the pros for the first time last season with 37 games in the ICE Hockey League.

Head Coach Matt McIlvane: "Keegan has made a big step in his first year in Europe. He had to learn a lot about how hockey is played in Europe, but then became a reliable defenseman and also played a big role in the shorthanded game on the way to the championship. Paul also developed very well and became a real ICE Hockey League player. He has a very strong character and is willing to contribute fully to the Red Bulls' professional team."
