Kevin Constantine surprisingly leaves Fehérvár at his own request

Kevin Constantine, who is spending the summer in his home country, informed the club management of Hydro Fehérvár AV19 that he will not continue working with the team despite his already agreed contract. Viktor Szélig, General Manager of Hydro Fehérvár AV19, while praising the joint work of the last years, also expressed his disappointment.

He made this decision independently from us. We accept his decision and his reasons may be understandable from a human point of view, but it is disappointing for me that we gave him a three-year contract at his request and now he is leaving and the timing could not be more unfortunate. This is not how I imagined the end of a very friendly relationship. We were completely unprepared for his decision because we are at the gate for next season with a finished product, a program we put together together, a program we worked on together. I must also say that this does not affect the preparation of the team, the program was carried out under the supervision of Dávid Kiss and will continue to be so. In sports, there are always unexpected situations that need to be solved, and I am sure that we will find the best scenario for next season."
