The Moser Medical Graz99ers announced the signing of Kevin Moderer, who was registered before the transfer deadline. The 33-year-old hit the ice for EC iDM Wärmepumpen VSV until mid-January, now he returns to Styria - where he already spent ten seasons with the 99ers.

In the 2020/2021 campaign Kevin Moderer was last in the lineup of the Moser Medical Graz99ers, then he moved to Villach. In this season Moderer played 36 games for EC iDM Wärmepumpen VSV, scoring three goals and nine assists. For private reasons, however, he asked the club to terminate his contract early.

The Moser Medical Graz99ers signed Kevin Moderer before the end of the transfer period, although a comeback was actually not initially planned. Recently, however, there were several injured cracks on the side of the 99ers and so the responsible persons have now decided to seek the conversation with Kevin Moderer about a possible comeback. "I first had to talk with my parents, whether this commitment is compatible with work, because I now partly work in the family business. But I also saw on Sunday how a decimated team played against Salzburg and I really liked that. The goal now is for us to win against the KAC. A full arena is always great, but the priority is this win against Klagenfurt and that could be a big step towards the pre-playoffs," said the newcomer, who will make his comeback against the KAC on Friday.
