Kevin Roy signs in Innsbruck

HC TIWAG Innsbruck - Die Haie has strengthened its team for the upcoming season of the win2day ICE Hockey League with Kevin Roy, as the former NHL player will contest his second season in Europe with the CHL participant. Most recently, he played in Sweden and Finland.

Further, the HC Pustertal Wölfe has completed the contract extension with the two local defenders Daniel Glira and Ivan Althuber.

Innsbruck's newcomer Kevin Roy is 30 years old and comes from Greenfield Park, Canada. He was picked in the 2012 NHL Draft by the Anaheim Ducks and went on to play a total of 28 NHL games (6G|1A). Kevin Roy spent seven seasons in the American Hockey League (AHL), recording 194 points in 301 games. Most recently, the forward gained his first European experience in the top leagues of Sweden and Finland.


Pustertal extends with two defenders
Daniel Glira and Ivan Althuber will strengthen the defense of HC Pustertal Wölfe also in the upcoming season. Both players have been figureheads of the club for years.
