EC-KAC II has presented 42-year old Canadian Kirik Furey as their new Head Coach for the upcoming Alps Hockey League-season. EHC Alge Elastic Lustenau has signed the Nationalteam goalies Maric Jucers (LAT) and Lukas Reihs (AUT U18). Besides, Frederic Cloutier will be goalie in Asiago 2018/19 as well.

Kirk Furey follows Ryan Foster in Klagenfurt
Kirk Furey will lead EC-KAC II as the new Head Coach into the upcoming Alps Hockey League-season. The 42-year old Canadian is "working" in Klagenfurt since 2007: Furey has worn the joursey of EC-KAC's first team as a defenseman in the Erste Bank Eishockey League eight seasons long (Champion 2009 and 2013) and has earned his first experiences as a coach in the Carinthian City as well. Last season, Kirk Furey coached the Under-18-team of EC-KAC in the Erste Bank Juniors League (EBJL) and he led the team to an Austrian title.
 
Cloutier stays in Asiago
Italo-Canadian Frederic Cloutier will try to defend the Alps Hockey League title with Migross Supermercati Asiago Hockey 1935 next season. The 37-year old goalie has been a key-player for his team so far. Last season, Cloutier was among the Top 2 netminders in the League, he had a save% of 92,9 and a GAA of 2.23 out of 54 games. Cloutier will go into his third season with the Champions 2018/19: After playing the finals with the Yellow-Reds 2017, he has earned the title with the club 2018…
 
Lustenau signed two Nationalteam goalies
EHC Alge Elastic Lustenau puts their hopes on two Nationalteam goalies in the upcoming season: The Vorarlberger signed Latvian Nationalteam goalie Maris Jucers and Austrian U18-goalie Lukas Reihs for 2018/19. Maris Jucers has played for Lyon in France past season and has won the Cup title with the team. Lukas Reihs has guarded the net of OKANAGAN Hockey Club Europe in the Erste Bank Juniors League and in the Erste Bank Young Stars League last season.
